rider, a regular bus rider, but she said her trip from albany to here usually took 20 minutes. this morning it was 45 minutes and she had to stand the entire way. definitely a different ride from her. if you take a look at the transbay terminal here, it might look kind of sparse but that's how the morning commute works on this end. this buss are packed and full, but people get off them quickly and they are on the go, they keep moving. we have video from earlier this morning to show you how crowded the buss are. but they do empty quickly. a lot of smiling faces this morning. bus riders reporting to us it really was a pretty easy trip. >> the ride was fine, but they used a double bus. you can see the long one, usually they don't have that one and it was full. >> i left home about 3:40 -- no, about 4:30, so we got to the bus stop, it came about 5:05. overall not bad. >> reporter: the moral of the story was starting early. the people who took the earliest buses to get to the city really were in the best shape. now, within the last 30 minutes i've had one bus rider tell me her bus w

so bad earlier but now it is solid red and that is bumper-to-bumper traffic to 580 and the 8080 from albany to berkeley still at top speed. that does not seem to be quite as bad as the others and to the south, when you pass dub it -- dublin it is clear. on the waze app this is the amount pass. 580 from tracy is not something we usually see but it looks like a lot of folks are taking the road to get around the delay because of an early car fire that is still blocking one lane. it really caused damage to this commute. that is now an hour to head out of tracy to dublin/pleasanton. in san jose it is not so bad. 87 beyond the julian off-ramp we have a few extra cars moving smoothly. tracking the sprinkles from your beach to mountain tan, that is where we have the best radar runs. they very light green to dark green so just sprinkles and nothing organized as far as rain or showers. we had that half an hour ago at half moon bay but it is falling apart. half mile visibility at half moon bay because of the fog and the rest of us are not affected by this at all. in the south bay, all of us are in the
