that is dallas county. by a narrow 3-2 vote, dallas county commissioners voted last night to join a federal challenge to the state's voter i.d. law. now, that law requires voters to present photo i.d. to vote in person. it's one of the strictest in the nation. the law was passed in 2011 but has yet to be implemented because of a number of administrative and legal challenges, including one by the justice department. the stream court's decision this summer to strike down parts of the voter rights act cleared the way for the law's reinstatement. this joining me now, dallas county judge clay jenkins, who voted last night to join the federal lawsuit, and dallas county district attorney craig watkins. thank you for joining me. >> thank you for having us. >> glad to be here. >> judge, let's talk about the numbers here. how many people do you believe are affected by this? as i pointed out, it's considered one of the strictest in the nation. judge, how many folks are you talking about? >> well, we're in the process
