how are you working with the latino community in arizona? is there an involvement in the latino community in this political process this time around? >> yeah, definitely, there is. as you just mentioned, arizona has become -- has been the ground zero in terms of the immigration debate. we see the passionate discussion going on on both sides. and with donald trump in the forefront now, as the presumptive republican nominee, you see a mobilization going on within the latino community. we have seen this happening. latinos here are outraged at the fact that donald trump can get away with calling us rapists and of course use other derogatory terms. and this election, we see the latino community here in arizona mobilizing. now, just to put it in context, this november, we can actually have a ballot where you have sheriff joe arpaio, john mccain, and donald trump on the same ballot. now, this is a very scary ballot for latinos. first, joe arpaio has targeted latinos fairly often. john mccain has turned his back on dreamers and donald trump is spewi

arizona no results just yet but immigration's a big story. reports of a big turnout in arizona. they could easily surpass the record. the maricopa county, phoenix, tucson down here around the mexican border. that's arizona historically romney won it easily. mccain home state, four years prior to that. utah, by the way, arizona is winner take all and the biggest pot of the night. unless you get over 50% here in utah. here's salt lake city and salt lake county. a lot of votes there and also down here in provo and utah county. we have seen based on some of the -- what was it? february 23rd, sean, nevada, that was a night where hillary clinton beat bernie sanders by 5 points in nevada and then donald trump pulled the trick on ted cruz and doubled him up. so we have a measure of a western state in nevada. and then two weeks ago in idaho ted cruz turned a trick on tr donald trump and easily won out there. we have the sense of what's shaping up out here but no results just yet. >> bill, real quick, we have -- winner take all in arizona. that's a primary. 58 delegates available. utah, 5

ted cruz is in arizona, not in utah. he is holding a press conference to talk about immigration at the mexican border and has a rally in phoenix later tonight. the ted cruz campaign is putting tv ads up in arizona including one featuring the father of a boy -- a young man who was killed by someone in the country illegally. arizona has the most delegates on tuesday. it is a winner take all state. that donald trump is widely expected to win. why is ted cruz spending time and resources in the winner take all state as he did in ohio and florida, playing there even though he is unlikely to win the state and not get any delegates? al: it is the only game in town. i'm not sure he has any choice. when you are 250 delegates behind you have to play almost everywhere. the ted cruz people believe one-on-one they would have had a shot at winning arizona but a lot of those voters have voted over the last month. i am sure trump did very well there. i guess the best that ted cruz can realistically hope for is a decent respectable second

it was a long day of voting indeed for folks in utah and arizona. imagine waiting hours to cast a ballot. voters expressed frustration saying these lines could have been avoided. the democratic party's website crashed an hour before the start of the party's caucuses. the site includes information such as the addresses for the 90 democratic caucus locations in the state. the website also indicating who is eligible to vote and what documents are needed to do so. that problem was eventually fixed with the website. in arizona now, look at this. lines were several blocks long there. some people were even waiting up to three hours to vote. in fact the turnout was so great that one polling place ran out of ballots. we are told the lines are the result of maricopa county cutting back the number of polling sites to save some cash. the county had 200 polling places in the 2012 election and just 60 this year. that's quite a cut. the county sought the popularity of mail in ballots and the fact they can't vote in primaries would require fewer polling places. tur
