a college in amherst, massachusetts has stopped flying all american flags on campus, after one flag was burned following the presidential election at hampshire college. one college official says a flag was initially lowered to half staff after the election but it was then found burned on veterans day. they're going to a nice school and i'm sure things are good for them. so they need to show that a different way. , basically. sean: the president of hampshire college says no flags will be flown until campus officials consult with students and staff about appropriately utilizing flags in the future. now to a close call for some kids in pennsylvania. check this out. you can see the kids nearly get hit by an out of control police cruiser. authorities say police were chasing a stolen car when one of the cruisers got hit by a van. the cruiser spun right toward a group of kids that was standing it narrowly missed them. >> i'm still shaken up, because you see that in the movies, not in real life, you know? so, it was kind of scary, but everyone seemed fine besides the officer. he was shaken up.
