angelica's in studio with the very latest. three people are dead after a line of strong storms and possible tornadoes move across northern alabama. this is video of damage out of colbert county. emergency officials say the three people killed were all in home was critically injured. we're told there have been a number of other injuries and many buildings have been destroyed. the national weather service will be in the area today to survey the storm damage. and in tennessee -- a wildfire that has scorched roughly 15-thousand acres turns deadly. three people have now died. the wildfires, which started monday, damaged or destroyed more than 250 buildings throughout eastern tennessee -- including some iconic resorts. other buildings and attractions remained largely amusement park in nearby pigeon forge. the cause of fire remains under investigation. flight for life is called after a pedestrian is hit by a car in mequon. this happened just before 6 last night near highland and port washington. police say the pedestrian was taken to

angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. police say 67-year-old jameel ali sexually assaulted a woman back in may. ali is already a convicted sex offender. he was released back to the community on april 20, with the requirement that he inform officers couldn't find him. ali is expect to be back in court later today. a brown deer police officer charged for shooting a man outside a milwaukee county bus is back in court. earlier this month devon kraemer waived her right to a preliminary hearing. according to a criminal complaint-- kraemer and another officer took a belligerent passenger off a milwaukee county bus back in march. kraemer ended up shooting the man in the back. the man in that shooting survived. kraemer is back in court later today. happening today- we are expecting to learn more from new berlin police about the two people found dead in a home last wednesday. an elderly man and woman were found with single gunshot wounds inside their home on hickory trail. when police arrived -- the 76-year-old man was already dead

angelica joins us now with more. dassey's lawyers have submitted a plan to the courts... showing that their client plans to live with his mother in a trailer --100 miles from manitowoc. a judge has ordered dassey to be released after his conviction of brad schimel has asked that the order to release him be put on hold. the hit netflix docu-series "making a murderer" brought dassey's case back in the spotlight. the state is making one last plea to keep dassey locked up as they plan to file an appeal. they've asked a judge to make a decision on his freedom by 4 -p-m today. meanwhile -- dassey's uncle-- steven avery is serving a life sentence for halbach's murder. he's hoping a judge will hear his appeal as well. attacking a racine county correctional officer is found not guilty by reason of insanity. the inmate's family says there was more to the violence. 17-year-old deonte anderson was locked up for armed robbery. family says he suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. they claim he was abused by correctional officers while locked up. the sheriff says he has recei

"we need to take action on this today and it is a tough vote." the proposed ordinance sponsored by alderman hamilton and bohl would make it mandatory to replace lead water service lines--- and imposing special property. for example the privately owned portion of a lead water service line must be replaced if a leak occurs. failure to do so could result in a fine. the city is offering to share the costs so the private owner only pays the lesser of one third of the average current cost or $1600. a payment plan would be worked out with the home owner. some aldermen feel constituents need more information before a vote is taken.
