this is pretty much the our beloved bao bao. she will be leaving tomorrow, boarding a fedex plane, headed with a zookeeper and veterinarian. in honor of her departure, we are having some fun this morning with some great giant panda fun fact. the average lifespan for this animal is about 25 to 30 years old. it is actually a little bit aoulder -- shorter if it is wild animal. it spends 15 hours per day eating bamboo. that's 20 to 40 pounds. the throat has a special lining to protect from splinters, if you are worrieab all of that bamboo. there are only about 240 of these giant pandas in the world. it is an endangered species. part of the reason why we are losing bao bao. heart of our long-standing agreement with china, she will be part of a breeding program there. you have say her goodbyes. reporting live, john gonzalez. so bittersweet, john. thanks. pro-muslim activists in new york banning together -- banding together to protest the recent executive action on immigration. >> while you are saying i am islim, too, i say to you that
