amy hollyfield is live in san rafael to explain. good morning, amy. >> reporter: i just spoke with a smart train official who told me the first train left santa rosa at 5:49 this morning without any problem, so it's expected to roll into san rafael here at 7:00 this morning, but don't expect to hop onboard, this is only a test. she said they are running these testses as if it was actual service, and they are stopping at each station and opening the doors. there will be 17 trains in each direction on weekdays, and it connects from sonoma county to marin county and that trip should take about 60 minutes, and there's a quiet zone so the train won't blow its horn at crossings in some areas unless there's an emergency. it's important to be aware around the tracks. they have not set an exact date of the launch of this service saying it will only start in late spring. these tests will go on for the next few weeks. >>> we have new details that francisco uber is accused of stealing trade secrets. a judge referred the case to prosecutors, and

for more on this let's get to abc7 news reporter, amy hollyfield, who is live in antioch. >> reporter: yeah, they saved the house, firefighters did. you can see there is damage, the blackened facade and they lost a window here, and they say all of this happened because the owner was stealing electricity. here's a look at the scene at 11:00 last night, and they say they saw black smoke as they were driving to the fire and called for a second alarm. two firefighters suffered from being electricitily shocked when they went inside the home and that's how they figured out it has been illegally wired. >> it's a crime and injury to firefighters is also a crime, and it's consider filing criminal charges against the responsible party. >> here's a look investigators gave us inside the walls. the residents were stealing from the neighbor because they couldn't afford electricity. the residents here on blythe drive in antioch did get out okay and nobody else was hurt. >>> alameda county and oakland firefighters continue to put out hot spots at a construction fire in emeryville. this happened two d

amy hollyfield has the story. >> reporter: when firefighters arrived at this house fire in antioch they immediately shut down the power to safely fight the fire. >> it's a serious concern for firefighters because that's part of the process. once you disconnect the power, you assume you're safe from that risk. >> reporter: they weren't safe. two firefighters suffered from electrical shock. they say the house was illegally wired and stealing electricity from pg&e. >> in the course of fighting the fire, two of the firefighters were shocked, one rather severely. didn't cause burns. the firefighters are okay, treated on scene. it was an injury to the firefighters and that is a crime. >> reporter: four adults and four children were living in this home on blythe drive, two residents suffered from minor burns and automatic got out alive along with their pitbull puppy. >> i guess they're in the shelter by now. we'll see how things go. >> reporter: the homeowner stopped by to see the damage this morning. they don't know if the renters or homeowner illegally wired the home. they are still investig
