across parts of the north bay and we're continuing to see rain in napa down through american canyon vallejo you dried out but portions of northern san pablo bay and then areas just north of fairfield and vacaville still in the midst of some of those isolated areas of heavy rain bay itself looking pretty calm right now as does the peninsula south into the bay area from los gatos southward down 17 also into the santa cruz mountains just generally looking at lighter showers at the moment zooming out across the region and that's where the moisture plume is striking the bay are striking the coast. it's not the bay anymore, but rather the central coast. that is in the midst of some of this heaviest of rainfall and rainfall intensity for central coast neighbors is going to be high today. so there's a risk of those burn scars right along the central coast being exposed to some of this heavy rain and dust debris, flows and mudslides possible. it's good to see us taking a step off the gas pedal here in the bay because we saw already the heaviest of rain last night. now soils are very saturated so any
