>> well, nowhere good, nicolle. and the interesting thing is, i think we are all saying the same thing, is that when you look at those numbers, who are these people? these people are those who are so taken in by a political ideology, they will make decisions that are against their own -- not only their best interests, but against their lives, against their possibility of surviving the pandemic, which is astounding. and by the way, the other thing that's very concerning, of course, is that we now have an average death rate, daily death rate of about 1,300 people or 10,000 a week dieing from a disease that's preventable if you take the damn vaccines. it is astounding the me as a physician, as a public health person, to see people that are really putting their lives on the line to stand up for something that makes not the slightest bit of sense, nicolle. >> an unbelievable death rate. we shouldn't get to the point where we leave that out. 1,300 people a day are dying of covid every day. doctor, thank you for reminding

nicole saphier. doctor, let me start with you. he's been there a long time and makes a lot of money and wrong a lot. is that not a perfect example of washington, d.c.? >> well, pete, let's be honest. at this point i think we have not gotten anything right with covid-19 coming out of the white house and dr. fauci and the cdc. they flip flop every day. what i can tell you some of the verbiage coming out of dr. fauci recently talking about vaccine mandates for domestic air travel. shortening the isolation. i am a big fan of shortening the isolation and the post-exposure quarantine. that was far overdue. it had to be done. we have a man made worker shortage of the vaccine mandates and these long isolation protocols. the data has been there for 6 months. they had to catch up. the vaccine mandates for domestic travel will work as well as the vaccine mandate for the cruise ships. every person had to e vaccinated but they had major outbreaks. the vaccine mandates when you have transmission among the vaccinated and the boosted. it won't he

nicole? >> thank, you i just wanted to dig in a bit more to this really interesting conversation about limitations. and give this back over to you, senator jones. you are friends voluntary reporting regarding hate crimes and law enforcement. not military but law enforcement themselves. can you talk a bit more about the challenges of getting law enforcement data on hate crimes and extremism in communities and within the law enforcement sector. >> it's extremely challenging. and you've got -- at one point there was a component, mainly about the communities themselves. you really don't like to collect the state in the sense that they believe that it somehow reflects badly on their communities. mayors and county commissioners and chiefs of police and sheriffs, they don't want their communities being tagged as a hate crime filled community. they also know that, quite frankly, with a lot of these hate crimes, it comes a lot of played listed as well. so -- collect the state. i've seen it here in ala
