our own lindsay czarniak got the news first. she was told by a team source sometime around 3:00 in the morning that the coach had been fired. this happened after the team returned from san diego around 2:00 in the morning. so black monday coming very early for former redskins head coach jim zorn. again, the team landed around 2:00 a.m., the 56-year-old head coach given an opportune presumably to pack up his belongings. after the game the coach said he did not know of any plans in the works to fire him. although he did shake hands with the media after his press conference and then he thanked everyone, which might have been an indication he knew something was coming. after two seasons finishing 4-12, officials were waiting here at redskins park to fire coach zorn early this morning. the team has scheduled an 11:30 team meeting. it's unclear who will be addressing the team. our own lindsay czarniak got the news very early this morning that coach zorn was fired when he returned from san diego. we'll have much more coming up late the

abusers may think twice about their own behavior and seek ways to change since passage of the lindsay ann bar beckham rhode island, we have gotten support from the attorneys general and the national foundation for women legislators. they apartment with us in our effort to support this law and past dating violence education. as a result of their efforts, several states have passed laws which bills pending in other states. however, i want to point out that some have been watered down due to lack of funding for implementation funding and leadership from the federal level is needed for comprehensive dating violence education for all teams. the last vawa created a program to educate teens for the protection act that would support training in school but is it has never received funding. this funding is exactly what states and school districts need to implement education laws. american teams are experiencing alarmingly high levels of abuse in their dating relationships. the survey found the parents are out of touch with the level of teen dating violence and abuse among their teens. teens are
