nbc 10's christine maddela is live at the scene. what's the word on the officer's condition tonight? >> reporter: we've been checking in with philadelphia police throughout the evening to find out about that officer. right now police tell us officers in stable condition at the hospital. at the scene there's a heavy police presence and a portion of dauphin street is blocked off as is a portion of fairhill street. you can see detectives are busy as well as the street being blocked off to traffic. take a look at some of the evidence at the scene. police first got to this intersection after someone shot a 25-year-old man several. you can see a gun left here on the street as well as shell casings. the shooting victim is at temple university hospital in critical condition. and police tell me the officer who was hit by the car was hit when the driver of that car was taking off from the shooting scene here. police say they caught that driver and he is in the hospital right now being treated for his injuries. >>> and this just in to nbc 10.

. >> nbc 10's christine maddela is live outside carlesha's family's home. what is the latest from there this afternoon? >> reporter: philadelphia police officers have been in and out of the family home all afternoon today, and at 3:30, we saw two more officers go inside and they're still there. >> there were a lot of factors that we were worried about and everything turned out well. >> reporter: philadelphia police inspector james kelly visited with carlesha's family this afternoon. carlesha is not at the home. she's somewhere else resting with other relatives. >> overall she's in good physical condition. very upset. emotionally she's very upset, obviously. so, but she's doing well overall. from what i understand from the family. she just needs some time and space to heal. >> reporter: carlesha's family made several pleas to the public while she was missing asking for help finding the abducted woman. now that she's been found, they're taking a break from the media exposure. >> they're happy and relieved but very upset. it's a brutal experience. none of us w

. >> christine maddela is out there monitoring the conditions. >> i've been watching this incident on route 202. this is on the southbound side. the ramp to route 30. it's a vehicle fire. crews are working to clear that out of the way. the cars are getting by on the left hand lane. taking a look outside the ben franklin bridge right now, the roads are wet. there's travel restrictions -- or speed restrictions in the lehigh valley and on the new jersey turnpike, 50 miles an hour from the delaware memorial bridge up to the gw bridge. you can see the roads are mostly just wet, it's the secondary streets where you will see slushy conditions and more snow covered roads, this is a picture sent by the montgomery county department of public safety. as the temperature drops overnight, you're going to watch out for icy conditions. we have seen several delays on most of the regional rails as well as new jersey transit, make sure you check before you go. jim and renee? >> it is the day before thanksgiving, the airports are packed with thanksgiving travelers now. >> the weather having an impact? >>

christine maddela is here with what we can expect for our commute this evening. >> we have a problem in new jersey right now, it's tough to see because of the precipitation on the camera lens. all the emergency vehicles out here, this is black horse pike and 295 many the intersection is shut down right now, due do this accident. no traffic is moving, i'm going to keep an eye on this, this happened about 15 minutes ago, it's going to cause some delays in that area. and this is just one of the accidents. new jersey state police tweeted about more than 200 accidents already reported on new jersey roadways so far. so you -- the new jersey state police say buckle up and go slow, if you have to go out at all. taking a look at the ben franklin bridge right now, there are speed restrictions in place. 35 miles an hour on the ben franklin bridge. there are speed restrictions in the lehigh valley and new jersey turnpike. >> thank you. >>> parts of philadelphia have seen a mix of snow and rain. >> the weather isn't creating a lot of problems. rosemary connors is live at 30th street station. the

christine maddela tracking road conditions. >> in the past half hour we've had several incidents pop up in chester county, northbound at root 29, you can see there is an accident. this is a little better than it was 15 minutes ago. there is the right lane blocked, you can see police activity. you want to get by in that center lane, if you are heading on root 202. also, another problem here in montgomery county, root 309, this is southbound, past bethlehem pike. we have emergency crews responding to another accident. these cars are snaking by here on the left. you can see just how wet and slick those roads are in that area. admiral wilson boulevard, there is an accident, it's just outside of this camera view, we are seeing a bit of a slow down here on the eastbound side. if you're heading out and using mass transit, i'll get you updated on that, i want to let you know the new jersey state police tweeted out this a few minutes ago. 200 plus reported accidents for the new jersey state police so far, don't become a statistic. if you're riding on mass transit, we are seeing several delays
