an hour ago, the board voted to change the name to maryland stadium. critics say hairy curly byrd worked to keep black students off the campus when he was president. he kept the school segregated until the court order to force enrollment. >>> sentencing was handed down for a 19 year old who killed his friend and then set the body on fire. the man pleaded guilty of murder. guidelines for sentencing call for a range of 18 to 26 years. mcneil was found dead in an alley last june where the two men shared an apartment. after the murder, is suspect told police the victim was his best friend. >>> four vehicles crashed on the wilson bridge this morning. the crash shut down several lanes of the interloop for three and a half -- three and a half hours. >>> a scary school bus ride in fairfax county. the bus hit a guardrail along the southbound side of 395. 13 students were transmitted to a -- transported to a local hospital for treatment. a spokesperson says the injuries are not life threatening. its unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the bus. >>>
