do people from indiana see this as truly a victory? >> well, it's certainly a victory in indianapolis. we are talking about to a thousand workers who would have lost their jobs in the coming years otherwise so it's a big deal from that perspective for sure. >> a thousand jobs are i guess presumably still going to mexico. do you or does anyone at the paper know what sort of incentive the president-elect offered carrier to keep the other half of jobs in indiana? >> that's a great question. we don't have the full details. i did talk to a member of the state's economic development board earlier today and he suggested it would be in line with what they offered other companies. in 2013 they offered about 200,000 in training grants to the company. a related company further north in indiana got 300,000 more recently so it may be in that ballpark that we're talking about. >> do you know how much of a role mike pence played in all of this? >> i mean, i think for trump it's been very convenient having a vice presidential candidate who also still

in the indiana there's moving. generally speaking republicans are doing better in the states than trump is. good news for the g.o.p. but there are exceptions. marco rubio in florida is trending down. the man who called donald trump a con artist has lost ten opinions from september, and that senate race is tied in the new cnn/orc poll. then missouri, the republican senator roy blueprint do -- roy blunt is having a time. the monmouth poll completed on monday has blunt up one point suddenly that one is tied. then new hampshire, different story. kelly ayotte is now up six over her democratic rival. the current governor, in the latest wbur bombs. she has had a resurgent si there and now the republicans lead. so the senate could goo either way. most stilts have the democrats taking it. no chance there would be a filibuster proof majority for either party. that's the senate. in the house, if the polls and prognosticators are right, republicans maintain their majority, not as big but a majority nonetheless. so president fo

pence became governor of indiana, he was a u.s. congressman for a long time. all of his papers from his time in congress have been shelved at indiana university in bloomington. this is all of his papers. he made the decision to do this. it spans more than a decade of his public life. it's apparently a lot of content. 30 cartons of documents and lots more of electronic records spanning 12 years of his time in public life but governor pence has made a remarkable decision that those congressional records, those papers from his time in congress will be sealed with no public access until december 2022 or until he dies, which ever comes later. and honestly, the weirdest part about all of that, mike pence didn't have a consequential time in congress. he wasn't involved in super high-level decisions. he was in congress for 12 years but literally never had a bill become law. he scrapped limits on an individual's aggregate campaign limits but that one just died. what could possibly be in those documents that they have to be held under seal until you're dead? as the plan
