(grant) joining us is meteorologist lawrence karnow... temperatures began to cool today as high pressure weakened. this is the beginning of a cooling trend that will have temperatures running below normal through the middle of the week. fires continue to burn but the weather conditions are improving for firefighters. the winds have been very light. the sea breeze will stretch further on shore over the next few days and the humidity will switch from very dry to almos wet as early as tomorrow. on the satellite and radar you can see the clouds and showers moving into california. most of the rain will be south of monterey. we'll see increascing clouds as this system moves through tonight. on the satellite image you can see the storm developing in the gulf of alaska. this storm will bring a chance of showers late on thursday and into early friday. highs tomorrow will be cooler and in the 80s inland, 60s and 70s around the bay, with 50s to mid 60s at the coast. we will conitinue to cool over the next few days with partly cloudy skies tomorrow.
