now, along the weather front i pointed out, some cloud from south west england, south east wales, the midlands and on towards yorkshire. just edging a little bit further east with a chance of a few spots of rain. doesn't look like much more than that for much of the day. close to the low pressure, northern ireland and scotland will see some quite heavy showers, thundery possibly, too. quite blustery, particularly in northern ireland. these are average wind speeds, but gusts here could be over a0 mph or so. and as for temperatures, it will feel a little bit warmer if you do get to see a bit of sunshine during the day, mainly 14—17, but a few spots in east anglia, south east england mayjust get above 20 degrees just depending on how much sunshine there is. but be aware — as we get into the evening, there could be some quite heavy and thundery downpours moving through here, whereas elsewhere overnight and into monday, we will continue with a few showers, particularly across western areas. and just to reinforce the fact that it's a bit warmer by day and it is overnight as well, these

sunshine initially for scotland and northern ireland will filter its way further south and east across england and wales through the afternoon. still a few scattered showers bubbling up here and there, especially for parts of central and eastern england and northern ireland, as well. temperatures about ten to 15 degrees so in the sunny spells between any showers some people miss them altogether, it will feel reasonably pleasant. into the evening some heavy showers initially towards the east but they will ease away overnight with things becoming dry for most with long clear spells, quite a chilly night, could be a touch of grass frost across parts of scotland and northern england, just about frost—free further south. during the day on sunday after that cool start there will be more rain, it moves slowly from west to east so some dry weather before it arrives, breezy later in the day because another area of low pressure moves in, quite a few isobars wrapped around that area of low pressure as well but for the bulk of the day quite a bit of central and eastern scotland, eastern side of

brightening up later in north—east scotland. not many showers in southern england and south wales. the winds at their strongest along the north sea coasts and across parts of eastern england. very gusty, but again easing later. catch a shower, hail, thunder — with temperatures like this, it'll be wintry over the hills in scotland. now, on through tuesday evening and night, some showers continue to feed south. it's where it gets clearest overnight — northern england and parts of scotland — we're going to have frost going into wednesday morning, so it will be a cold start. and wednesday will be a day of sunshine and showers. again, there will be a wintry flavour to these showers in places with hail and some snow on the higher hills in scotland, northern england, perhaps into wales as well. it's not going to feel any warmer. we're back to the risk of overnight frost. a similar picture on thursday — further showers, wintry on hills moving south and maybe a spell of rain flirting with the south coast of england, so we're going to keep a close eye on that. friday will be another
