when i googled i thought i would die immediately. i thought i shouldn't have this illness it's mostly relegated to men over 70. it was a very confusing time for me when i was diagnosed. was hard to find open spaces online with people who share the illness. and then to take the authoritarian shut down and shut it off approach. this is really troubling because historically we have seen and to take a hard line approach that isn't always inclusive for the people of chronic illnesses. i understand whites important to have open dialogue. at the same time it's important to recognize the difference between open dialogue and the spread of misinformation with algorithms. and to share information with authoritative sources instead of shutting down speech entirely. as of covering up real information with global sources like the astrazeneca vaccine which has been a huge controversy the past few weeks with a reasonable number of blood clots affecting women my age. and not just rely on the cdc which said misinformation about masks early on that way
