here's an idea of what the pennsylvania congressman has done in his time in congress. he is the incoming leader of the freedom caucus and led efforts to overturn pennsylvania's electoral vote for joe biden. he voted against awarding congressional gold medals to the officers who defended the capitol on january six. and he is one of 18 house members to vote against the resolution condemning the conspiracy theory group, qanon. meanwhile, the new york times is reporting that the january six committee is examining if there is a enough evidence to send criminal referrals to the justice department for donald trump. the times reports, quote, investigated for the committee are looking into whether a range of crimes were committed including two in particular. whether there were wire fraud by republicans who raised millions of dollars off assertions that the election was stolen despite knowing the claims were not true. and whether mr. trump and his allies obstructed congress by trying to stop the certification of electoral votes. with all that, let's bring in our lead off guests
