the annapolis naval race. pierre officially dropped out this week after reports surfaced about her rocky financial past. the committee nominated josh cohen. officials say he was chosen because they believe he can win. cohen plans to kick off his campaign at noon tomorrow in annapolis. a week after that 72-inch water main broke, the massive cleanup is still going on. sky team 11 was backed over that seen this afternoon. work crews are doing their best trying to repair the gaping hole. residents are still affected by it. they will get help tomorrow from county leaders who will set up a recovery service center to help residents answer their insurance questions and deal with their concerns. many residents say this is needed because they have yet to be reimbursed by their insurance company. officials say those of the type of concerns the service center will address. >> able to clean up supplies, labor, and it will answer insurance questions that people have. >> the recovery service center will be set up tomorrow fr

john sackit of annapolis died near wrightsville beach in north carolina. he was a freshman at unc wilmington. sackit was swimming. witnesses saw him struggle and go under after the lightning strike. rescuers performed cpr but could not ve him. >>> maryland is reporting its eighth death blamed on the swine flu. the state's department of health and hygiene says the young man from the baltimore area is the victim. this is the first swine flu death in the state involving a child. >>> in the latest in homegrown terror arrests, president obama is praising the new york city police department for disrupting a possible terrorist bombing plot aimed at commuter trains. he called into a briefing between the nypd and homeland security to thank the police for their outstanding work. the american-born suspect is in custody in new york city today. officials say najibullah zazi was close to pulling off an attack in new york, the city where he grew up and worked as a coffee cart vendor. zazi lived in denver most recently. he was cause on surveillance tape buying gallons of

that last report a couple of showers down the annapolis way bringing a small rain amount and 15/100ths of an inch toward hanover. you don't get a lot of rain with those but some spots got soaked pretty good and made it vic for the have afternoon commute. high temperatures up close to 80 degrees. these numbers kind of going away for a while. i don't think we're going to see mid-to upper 70s, i won't say we're not going to see them again for a while but probably not at least for 4 or 5 days. cool temperatures have pulled away. down in the 60s in some spots. taking a look at that line, there's not much behind it so i think for those of you watching if the rain has ended that's probably it. so basically from baltimore westward no more precipitation. cecil county southward in the eastern shore here, another half an hour to an hour of rain and it's all out of here and in behind it clearing skies. going to be a pretty nice looking forecast scenario overnight tonight and in the day tomorrow. so look out for the windy conditions behind that pump but the early showers already moving out of the b
