fox 45 news at 5:30. >>> first on fox tonight, a pasadena business woman accused of scamming homeowners and lenders out of millions learned her fate in federal court. joe lepola has more today. >> reporter: she appeared to be a professional -l business woman running her own company called day title. little did anyone realize that williams was stealing money out of her company's escrow account, cash allocated to roy any close payouts at closing, nearly $3.5. court documents detail how williams' scheme stretched over a three-year period, now netting her millions. three years later it costs the victim their jobs, credit and hard-earned money. williams did not comment following her sentencing but one of her victims certainly did. >> the effects tonight more than a year later. our company and the first time in the 55 year people had to layoff people. i'm thankful i have a job. there are many others that can't say that. >> reporter: john is the first person who noticed what was happening. as part of a plea deal, williams received a seven year sentence today. she will start to serve in october
