the latest victim was shot to death around midnight this morning. 11 news reporter kate amara has more. >> the deadly shooting scenes of the of the new market is a milestone for baltimore police. in the last two years they managed to knock down the city's murder rate to the lowest level in 20 years. but after a man was shot to death and area of the degree reisterstown road and of was baltimore there were six murders and one week. sunday's shooting began just after 130 a m one and 18-year- old was shot several times. he was pronounced dead at a hospital. the next killing came three hours later in south baltimore. a 35 year old gun down in the 100 block of west cross street just before 4:30 a.m.. of those murders make this past week the deadliest baltimore has seen in two months. even so on 11 news sunday morning mayor sheila dixon says she is committed to her crime- fighting plan. >> we have to continue to go of illegal guns. i can't stress that anymore. we are still working on a whole host of issues. and i think we are making those kind of strides. doing -- during these trying times is
