it happened early this morning in oakland. anne makovec joins us from children's hospital where the girl is being treated. anne. >> reporter: she is six years old and her name is leslie ramirez, here at children's hospital right now after being shot in the arm while she slept at 2:15:00 a.m. this morning. these are pictures of the home where this happened on seminary avenue. we counted about 20 bullet holes on the side of the home and also in the window. apparently at least one of the bullets entered the home, hit the little girl in the arm as she slept in her bed, and then was lodged in her chest. that is according to her sister. likely more than one shooter involved in this according to police. here's what the sister has to say. >> we were all sleeping and i heard like a lot of gunshots and then i woke up and i -- i heard my mom crying and screaming and then she had my little sister, so i asked like if they were okay. then i seen my little sister, she was really bleeding from her arm. so i called 911. >> reporter: nobody has
