and nancy pelosi talks to diane sawyer about her next step. >>> plus, an american ballet company performs in cuba. >>> and good morning, everyone. thanks for being with us. we begin with that breaking story, now, out of singapore this morning. qantas airlines has grounded its fleet of airbus a-380 jets. >> that came after one of them wound up losing an engine, six minutes into a flight from singapore to sydney. the flight had 459 passengers onboard when it took off for australia. moments later, witnesses on an indonesian island reported hearing a massive explosion. and wound up finding pieces of plane debris on the ground. when the jet was safely back on ground in singapore, company ceo, allen joyce, said qantas won't fly another a-380, until they know exactly what went wrong. and he said the incident had nothing to do with wear and tear. >> this is the first aircraft that we took off two years ago. and the engines on the aircraft in question is new. >> reporter: he also made it clear that a full investigation will now take place. >> it looks like it's a contained engine failure. but it's

sawyer. he went to the airport on november 7th to head to a wedding down in orlando. he was going through security at the airport in detroit, when he was asked for an enhanced pat-down. and you know, he told the security agent there, look, i've got a medical condition, do you mind if we go the a private room. he got to the private room. this gentleman, mr. sawyer, suffers from bladder cancer, he wears a you aurostomy bag that essentially holds his urine. and essentially what happened is that this agent in doing this enhanced pat-down ruptured the bag, causing urine to spill all over this man. and as you said, he felt humiliated. and i think what we really hit our finger on here with this story, kyra, is perhaps some of these agents just aren't trained in dealing with people with medical conditions and special cases like mr. sawyer. let's take a listen to what he had to tell us earlier this morning. >> i don't think he was trained to deal with me. as i reflect back on it now, i think maybe he

sawyer. he told us his story yesterday. here it is quickly. the back story. mr. sawyer is a bladder cancer survivor and he has to wear a urostomy bag to collect his urine. he asked for a private pat down at the airport in detroit because of his medical device. clearly, the agent didn't know or didn't even care about saw r sawyer's situation. >> when he got to my chest area, he used his open palm and doing down my chest quite near and if he got near the bag, there was a possibility of pulling the seal off it. and i said, at that point, you need to go slower and you need to go softer or you will pull the urostomy bag off. i said go softer and he got to it. i happen to have one of the bags here to show you and pulled the seal kind of half off it. and amongst that happened, it was kind of like pulling the seal off -- half off of a battle of orange juice and tipping it upside down. the urine came out to my bag and down my pants. >> and then just sounds like -- >> and sounds like a horrendous exper

sawyer says he was mortified. >> this was so embarrassing and humiliating. i wasn't prepared. i don't think anybody is prepared to have it happen at an airport or large building. i didn't have time to do what i needed to, the plane was going to go. >> he's filed a formal complaint but hasn't heard back from tsa officials. >>> this is really the busiest travel time. you can bet these screenings are top on the minds of people heading to the airport. roosevelt leftwich is live at bwi marshall with reaction. >> reporter: authorities at bwi marshall say they expect a pretty normal long thanksgiving weekend and that means long lines through security plus a busy terminal and pretty good experience for most passengers. however, most travelers say flying these days is going to get a little more intrusive. it just gives some people the creeps knowing there's somebody looking at your private bits through your clothes. images blurred but still some say it's like having someone people through your -- peep through your window. the only alternative, an aggressive patdown, even more intrusive
