he met with the mayor of san francisco, harris and lieutenant newsom. the mayor of san francisco was going to tell him, thank you, thank you for the funding for high speed rail. >> the mayor told us earlier, that he was going to thank the president for that money and ask for more money as well too. obviously san francisco is facing a very large budget deficit in the coming year. mayor ed lee has said he will make it a priority to get that deficit down. and he wouldn't mind getting more money from the president, he is getting to take off right now. the city has maintained the connection with the obama administration particularly under the reign of former speaker of the house nancy pelosi. they're hoping that relationship will continue being that the federal government, state government and local government struggle to find money to continue the programs that are important to us. as you can now see, marine one is getting ready to take off and head out of sfo after a very brief arrival and handshaking session with the president here on the ground. >> okay
