i'm chief meteorologist jeff ranieri. we did see 68 in san jose. big change coming our way. >>> we're going to have the latest on the breaking news we're following out of san francisco. a fire at a residential hotel. >>> updating the breaking news, we told you a residential hotel fire in the tenderloin district of san francisco at the franciscan towers. it has been contained about 40 minutes ago. are there any injuries to pass along? >> reporter: the fire is out but this is a very active scene. there are lots of firefighters out here evaluating. on the sidewalk, just seen another patient transported to the hospital. i talk to the fire chief and he said six people have been transported to the hospital and at least 25 have been evaluated. it started in the basement trash compactor and spread up through chute. six stories and the flames came out the roof. i did speak with residents inside who said it was scary but they believe everybody got out safely. the firefighters are still here. the fire is out. they're evaluating patients but at this point they
