senator collins. >> thank you. let me first endorse the chairman's comments on liability and encourage you to take another look at our bill. i want to follow-up on the issue of how you handle critical infrastructure. in the statement, it says that the white house proposal emphasizes transparency to help market forces ensure that critical infrastructure, operators are responsible for cybersecurity, and it goes on to say there's new requirements for reporting to the securities and exchange commission, that there would be publication of a summary of the evaluation results, and i must say these provisions surprised me, and the reason that they surprised me is the list of critical infrastructure is now classified. now, granted i'm sure that many americans, many of those who would do us harm could obviously figure out what a lot of the critical infrastructure sites and capabilities are, but the fact is the list is classified, so are you planning to change the classification and make the list public? that's my first quest

collins told us he thought he would have the roof on the structure tomorrow. look at some pictures that we just shot this afternoon. you can see that the roof is already up. he and his co-workers are really moving quickly just one example of the spirit of this community. lots of people we have spoken to say they want to rebuild. >> when the president of the united states comes to joplin tomorrow, is that something he's going to see? >> reporter: absolutely. you can't miss it. you can see over here some of the folks who are trying to pick through some of the rubble of one of the homes here that was destroyed. there's volunteers, thousands and thousands of volunteers throughout the community of joplin that have come from states all over the country to lend their hand. there's church groups. there's search and rescue personnel. there's law enforcement officials. there are people who are handing out food and water. anything that people need. it's really amazing at a time like this to see how people from this community and people from communities all over the count

bill andtor's carper senator collins' bill supports the efforts. without relief in this area, the service cannot continue as a viable entity for long term. no business of any type in any part of the country could afford to pay $5 billion supplemental annual income tax that its competitors do not pay and remain viable picket one thing this service should not do is close small post offices across as the senator will tell anyone, rural post offices are the keystones of every committee. according to data, the total net cost of the 10,000 small post offices, more than 1/3 of all post offices in united states, is less than seven tenths percent cost of all post offices. it does not say anything that amount of money to close rural post office, but is one of those measures that are popular with officials because they can look good and give the impression that they are driving large cost of the system. closing post offices is not popular with the american public. according to the 2010 l poll, 86% of americans opposed closing post offices. this is overwhelmin
