and lisa argen is here, you mentioned they may see snow up there this weekend? >> on memorial day they are going to open again heavenly. so we have the video, end of may great skiing, more snow to come this sunday even at lake level. we have an unseasonably cool system and we have a little bit of sunshine out there. this is emeryville but look at the trasus out there. cool west early wind that continue to below across the bay area. they will be with us throughout the weekend. roof camera shows sunshine. we will have it all. we'll have sun and wind and cooler weather and even some showers to slide on in here tomorrow. temperatures right now, well they are really kind of cool out there. upper 40s with redwood city, half moon bay. 53 in fremont. concord, out of the south, gusting to 24 miles an hour and out of the delta, ushering in more cooler air. right now it's pretty calm in mountain view and san jose. overall the numbers will become even cooler today with below average readings. two degrees cooler in fremont but the average is for a much cooler day today compa

let's go to lisa argen and find out what is going on. >> it looks just beautiful. it will be pleasant with mild conditions, lots of sunshine. it's chilly, 46 in redwood city. 41 in half moon bay. low 40s in santa rosa and napa. so we're looking at sunny and mild conditions today, enjoy big changes on the way beginning tomorrow with cloudy skies. numbers as much as ten degrees cooler, showers arrive late saturday. maybe thunderstorms on sunday in between the bay to breakers, looks cool with hopefully the rain out of way by the time the race starts. here is a look today. notice we have the front to the north and west of us. still a nice afternoon with sunshine, temperatures in the 60s today in san francisco. 50s at our coast. it will be breezy and sea breeze is going to pick up. we'll see mid-70s in our inland valleys. this is what is on the way. cool and wet weather, in fact it's going to stay with us with a series of wet weather systems headed our way through next week. today the warmest day of the next several, mid-70s in east bay valleys. 62 in downtown and rain

lisa argen knows and will tell all. golden gate bridge opened 74 years ago yesterday and now the countdown has counted for next year's 75th anniversary celebration, the bridge district unveiled a logo. there it is. you're going to be seeing that all over the bay area. the plans include building a more welcoming visitors center at san francisco and at the bridge. it won't be a bridge walk as there was for the bridge's 50th anniversary in 1987. if you're looking for something fun to do over the holiday weekend, check out the lawrence hall of science in berkeley. watch out! >> the life sized t-rex and the other creatures are part of an exhibit that opens today called "dinosaurs unearthed." you can see and hear the robotic dinosaurs roar and stomp before your very eyes. not on you, just near you. there's an area where kids can do their own archaeology dig for the prehistoric animals, the exhibit runs until next january. wow. >> got a januarylike weather system almost. >> january, may for the most part. >> and some cool and

lisa argen happens to join us as we're speaking of temperatures. what is going on? >> we got a pretty strong onshore flow that will cool coastal areas. golden gate bridge bathed in sunshine and sutro camera fog is drifting by from san francisco on south. we're going to see fog that will be hard pressed to clear. some of the breezy winds will keep numbers on the cool side. this morning, we're pretty much all in the 50s but away from that sea breeze, 61 in antioch. 54 in livermore. 55 in redwood city so the normal spread this time of year, about 15 degrees from the north bay to some of our coastal locations. we will see a definite spread today due to this wind. they are gusting to 22 miles an hour at the airport and breezy winds in fairfield and calm winds right now in mountain view but a west wind in oakland at 10 miles an hour. so highlights, few clouds around this morning, mainly in the south bay and at our coast. otherwise we'll see lots of sunshine, breezy and cooler mainly tomorrow but today you will feel some of that breeze depending on where you are. clouds sh
