in springfield, 57 degrees. temperatures will stay stable for an hour to, but skies clear and we will be in the 40's in most areas by tomorrow morning. these temperatures right now are running 25 degrees colder than yesterday at this time. 26 degrees colder in gaithersburg. milder temperatures to the south and southwest. just a little milder. we are not alone in these huge departures. all of these areas have temperatures colder than they were yesterday at this time. out west, 15 degrees warmer in chicago that was yesterday. those warmer temperatures will work their way in slowly over the next few days. the rain was beneficial and washed the pollen of the air. left over is an upper area of low pressure which will follow down along this trough of low pressure and out to sea. a couple of nice days -- a fast flow in the atmosphere. that will give us an opportunity for some low-end chances of a sprinkle. improving weather with temperatures in the upper 60s and 70 on friday. we could get an early afternoon shower pass
