elizabeth cook in heyward. thank you elizabeth. >>> a good samaritan trying to break up an attack on a woman was attacked by her assailant. it happened in pittsburgh at the intersection of harbor street. juliette goodrich on how it went down. >> reporter: this is the trail in pittsburgh. curfew is at 10:00 and goes until 5:00 in the morning. here's what we've learned about the recent attack. police tell us that past curfew at 10:45 at night, a woman was held against her will by three suspects. a good samaritan tried to help the woman and the suspects then told him quote, don't try to be a hero, just go home. the suspects then grabbed the good samaritan and kicked him several times and even stabbed him. and just last month, a 19-year- old pittsburgh man was shot along the trail. the victim was reportedly approached by four men on the trail. words were exchanged and the victim was shot. what happened to the trail in your mind? is it just not safe? >> yeah. i wouldn't recommend anybody walk on it. >> like so long,
