let's check in abc7's frances dinglasan in the traffic center to give us advice on how to get around this. frances? >> amy, the best alternate right now is 580 to avoid northbound 880 altogether. it is shut down. from where amy is from 980 to seventh street. this is a stretch that is closed. they are allowing big rigs on 580. and really, that is your best bet at this point. because there is something to note. as they detour traffic on to 980, you will not be able to connect from 980 to 580 that way. so one thing you may want to consider if you can't just get on to 580 is to get off at the 17 street exit. kind of head over san pablo and west grand. that will get you over to the bay bridge. that is a little bit of a trickier detour. that's why 580 is your best bet. we'll go outside and check out the live shot again. clean up continues of this accident. that happened much earlier, close to 1:00 this morning. again, it's going to be shut down until 7:00 this morning. of course, we'll keep you posted on drive-times and delays as they start to develop. >> we'll be watching it all morning.
