. >> reporter: police say this took place during the shooting of a video for the rapper khafani. he's tweeting he was not shooting a video he was not there he does say that 2-year-old toddler is his cousin. police concerned about retaliation shootings for happened. they are pleading with people who were there and they there were a lot of witnesses to come forward and help. help so far has been hard to find. for more on the victims, all eight, let's check in with amy hollyfield. >> reporter: good morning. the little boy is here at the hospital. he did make it through the night. in critical condition, according to police. his name is hiram lawrence. he is scheduled to celebrate his second birthday next month. he was shot in the head last night while he was in his dad's arms. police were here at the hospital this morning. eight investigators spent an hour here. they told us they have not made any arrests. a lot of family members were here throughout the night, as soon as he was brought here, they are all waiting on word on hiram's condition. >> he don't know no better he just going
