currently sitting at 42 in martinsburg. when you add in the wind, you get a windchill of already 37 in gaithersburg. 46 in winchester. 39 in martinsburg and 40 in manassas. a very chilly evening. the windchills continue to go down throughout the evening and into the day tomorrow. nothing to show you on the radar. no rain out there. don't expect any this weekend. we are looking at a dry weekend. i think it's going to be chilly, at least to start the day saturday and to start the day on sunday. then we see changes. you can see the flow out of the northwest. that's what's bringing in the wind. the good news is the flow switches out of the southwest tomorrow afternoon and into sunday. that helps temperatures warm up. tonight, a few clouds, chilly. 42 to 46 degrees. the sun went down. winds out of the northwest at 15 to 25. tomorrow morning, clear, breezy and cold with windchills in the teens to lower 20s in most areas. inside the district, i'm thinking 28 to 30 degrees with winds out of the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

tender-wise, relatively mild rain for this time of year. 57 in martinsburg. for the most part, we are in the mid 50's. temperatures will rise if you more degrees as we go into the afternoon. once this cold front moves in, that will put an end to our mild temperatures for the time being. showers are scattered all across the mid-atlantic and even into the deep south. tornado warnings in part of the deep south especially alabama. the cold front associated with this, an era of low pressure along with it, will enhance the arraigned later on today. the chance of a few thunderstorms as well, even with gusty winds especially in southern maryland. then that cooler air will spill into our region, and that will affect our temperature. high pressure settles in tomorrow, which will clear the skies, but with sunset being before 5:00 p.m., i do not foresee much in terms of sunlight tomorrow. high pressure on friday, total sunshine then. this weekend we have a southerly wind on the backside of that. then temperatures will rebound. in the 40's tonight with scattered showers.

just a couple of drops on the windshield. 56 in martinsburg with a low, these are lows we're looking at. it didn't get below 65 in la plata. the average high is 59 degrees. right now, the front just south of town, north of us, upper 50s to around 60. fredericksburg is 07. the warm weather relatively warm weather down here. we've dipped into the 40s in oakland and cumberland. right now, national is 65. cloudy skies. calm winds. that barometer is slowly, very slowly rising at the moment. and the dew point sits in the 50s. what we're watching is this moisture flowing in from texas. an upper storm producing severe weather in east texas. the severe thunderstorm watch box in the houston area. all of this rain coming north and east through kentucky and tennessee and up in our neck of the woods, we'll continue to watch this as this whole area is going to sag over us. the future cast shows the rain moving in as we get into the later part of the afternoon. you'll notice for the drive home, we're likely to have a lot more showers around than we have now. southern maryland down toward fredericks
