amazing support for the occupy oakland movement. thousands of people are now marching towards the port of oakland. you can see them on the left side of your screen. the occupy movement branched out, it all started early this morning as protesters took to the street at 9:00 a.m.. that created a headache for morning commuters. earlier this afternoon things became a little bit violent as some of the protesters and again it was a small number took aim and broke windows at to banks and vandalized a whole food store. later this evening the protesters started arriving in mass, they shut down the port of oakland and that is the picture that you see on the left side of your screen. you can see the large trucks that were surrounded by the crowd. they are being stopped from going into the port to unload today. the effort is to shut down any port business today. teresa estacio showed us how families are coming out in units to support today's general strike in the occupy movement. >>reporter: here in oakland at the main public library dozens of

it is busy in oakland street. southbound 101 is it -- is it -- they are taking their time in clearing it and they are trying to get it don't as quickly as possible. northbound 101 let's keep this in check, there are only a couple of lower 30s and 40s and it is way down, low clouds are keeping temperatures in the upper 40ss and we will have sunshine, west at 50, fs o has been up to 30 miles per hour, there is not much of a breeze down to the santa cruz mountains and it's about 25 miles per hour. the park los gatos is in there, more 40s due to this cloud cover. red wood city high pressure will affect everything and then a cold system will drop in and it will carve itself out for the weekend which looks like rain. fog sun breezy and it will be out of the northwest, temperatures will be cooler and we have a northwesterly breeze. 65 and 60s on the coast . be dry, although this is and then a really cold system drops in with the weekend always in view we plan on a very cold wind did i weekend. >>> we just want to recap f
