paul gigot edidentity of the wall street journal and evan bayh senator from indiana and bill kristol and juan williams. the end of this week, the most interesting thing, paul, he's still tied in polls taken since the story broke with mitt romney. and his fund raising is gone up. what is going on? >> i think the primary voters have no love lost on the ped hadia and they treat it with skepticism and know that the accusations are not fact. and they know business routinely solve them because they don't want the risk. and the accusation is not a fact. people are waiting to see how he handles and this all figures in to his ability to be president. that said. i don't think it has helped him or want to have happen as a candidate and the question is if you knew these settlements were out there. these are facts. never mind the accusation. but he didn't prepare for that eventuality, he should have disclosed them himself and get it out of the way early. what are you going to have it come out after nomination after labor day. what would republicans i think then? it doesn't reflect on crisis manag
