unfortunately, a wet christmas for atlanta rather than a white one. we've actually had snow here on christmas in the past. let's take a look at travel delays for those of you that are heading somewhere for this christmas. atlanta, light rain. new york areas, nice, but wind could cause a slowdown or two. philadelphia, windy weather. chicago, winds. and also in minneapolis. overall what's really nice to see is that these -- most of these delays are under an hour. we will be seeing pretty good conditions. the breezy weather across the great lakes and as that colder air comes over the warmer weather of the great lakes, watch for snow flurries. especially further upstate new york. i mentioned the rain in the southeast, but look at this -- rain in the pacific northwest. we'll be dealing with that in portland and seattle today. most of the country enjoying a fabulous, beautiful christmas. looks nice, nice and comfortable. we had the snowstorm earlier this week. so far christmas day looks great. t.j.? >> that's good news. thank you. good to have you with us o

a similar sunny day in atlanta and herman cain suspending his campaign. the fact that he's suspending the cain doesn't mean that it's over-over because the history of american politics is rife with examples of candidates who have suspended their campaigns and come back out and resurrected them again. is there a scenario under which herman cain could potentially do that? i mean, if you don't participate in the iowa caucuses, it's difficult to continue on with the contest after that, but i guess you could paint a scenario where if newt gingrich were to faulter in the iowa caucuses, potentially herman cain could say, okay, i'm taking the wraps off my campaign again and we're going to start all over. i think it's probably 99.9% that that would likely never happen. but it is interesting when you look back at herman cain's campaign, how much he did change the political debate in this country particularly around the idea of taxes, him coming out with the 9-9-9 plan and other candidates and the issue of tax reform in this election wouldn't be on the table if it w
