john henrehan joins with us the story with the latest. >> reporter: police in hyattsville area now they have five victims but they are not sure if they are seeking one assailant or two different men. this waterway in the hyattsville area of prince george county is known as the northwest branch of the anacostia river. alongside the waterway, lies a paved hiking biking and walking path known as the west bran trail. it's patrolled. a portion of the trail is adjacent to the west hyattsville metro station. from mid-march to april 20th, three different women have been accosted on the trail by an armed man, dragged off the trail and raped. one was in her 30s, one in her 20s and the most recent was 14 years old. this past week several area police departments met, compared notes and learned since january two other women were sexually accosted on nearby streets within walking distance of the metro stop. the trail has been pasted over with fliers described by the various victims. in all cases, the assailant is described as a male hispanic standing between 5'5" and 5'7". police are not sure if they
