southern maryland through central virginia. and including fredericksburg, culpeper, warrenton, manassas, and we have a mostly clear sky now. just a few clouds have been popping up around the region. here is the wider view. there was that rain all this near green was the rain that came through overnight. washing a lot of the pollen out of the air. and clearing our sky out we have that northwesterly breeze and high pressure to our north, pushing in. that's going to give us this sunshine for the rest of the afternoon. and cool temperatures, too. average high this time of year is 62 in washington. we are probably going to get up near the average. but we are not used to that. we have had much warmer than average weather over the last month. northwest winds gusting to 30 miles an hour. and high temperatures, though, farther to our south, may make it into the mid 60s and north central virginia and into southern maryland and over towards the central shenandoah valley. perhaps even the northern shenandoah valley gets into the mid sits.
