it was a violent weekend in baltimore city. police have confirmed a dozen shootings and a stabbing, leaving four people dead. they're questioning suspects in custody. police also say they are making progress on a number of cases as well and there is a lot of work that needs to be done. they are stepping up patrols in many neighborhoods. there will be meeting with the eight leading group of industrial nations at camp david. the money received would have benefited local agencies and hopes that maryland congressional delegation will help them get the money he said they deserve. it is reported the maryland national guard will be on standby in case of protests. and a special session to avoid a doomsday budget in maryland began today. the senate and budget taxation committee met to hash out a budget. democrats say it is needed to avoid over $500 million in cuts. republicans have deemed the session unnecessary and says -- and say the state can live with the reductions currently in place. >> ron paul says he will no longer actively cam
