it's about to move into anne arundel, pasadena, severna park, chesapeake beach. very, very long lived line of thunderstorms here as this has come down from ohio as well. i do want to mention that if you are basically in the central sections of the district or east of i-95, the heaviest of this has moved through unless you're north of the district. if you're up into howard county, still the heaviest of this is going to be moving through, baltimore county and north of baltimore county and it still has to come on across. the line now probably i would say a couple hundred miles long from north to south, north of baltimore down to south of richmond right now and it is all severe. all of the counties out in advance of this particular squall line now have been designated as severe thunderstorm warning counties and it goes anywhere from basically 11:15 all the way till probably midnight and 1 a.m. we did have a severe thunderstorm watch that was issued. that is in place until 1 a.m. tonight. it looks like everything is moving on through. behind the line of thunderstorms

. >> i am men serve on our parked -- i am in severna park. we were in annapolis. we solve the lightning coming. that we started heading home. boy, we drove right into it in a matter of seconds. it went from being calm and still to their real frightening wind to the point that the trees limbs were falling. we raced to get our car in our garage and the streets were covered with branches some of them fairly large in diameter. now it is steady rain and lightning. the wind is still blowing, but it has calmed down from the squall line that came through. it was frightening. it was a very powerful wind. the power blinked off only a little bit, came back on. it has stayed on. i heard suzanne kennedy talking about her neighborhood littered with debris. that is the story here in anne arundel county as well. i am sure there are cars with broken windshields and dents from the fallen limbs. >> you have been covering the area 25 years. how does this compare with what you have seen in the past? >> i have used the word impressive, this was a very, very unusual gust that came throu
