we are confident that governor romney will prevail. the subpoint, when you look at the public polls, 24 or 25, in 21 of them, governor romney is leading with independents and not by a small margin, but double digits. anyone involved with ohio politics will tell you, the candidate who wins independents in ohio will win the ohio election. we are very confident about the race there. when you see president obama is going to under of perform badly in the southeastern part of the state and the coal counties, with the lima tank factory, when vice-president biden said that, you know, the defense department doesn't need any more m1 tanks and the lima tank factory is the only factory in the country that refurbishes those tanks. you will see pockets of dis-affection in ohio cutting into the margins and i feel very good about governor romney's message and our turnout operation. >> chris: your campaign started running an ad in ohio this week, which implies that the jeep is shipping u.s. jobs to china, when they are just expanding their operations t

governor romney 45%. there's about a 32,795 advantage for the president in florida right now. 29 electoral votes at stake. the president ahead right now. but it's very early, only 4% of the vote is in. in indiana, 6% of the vote is in. mitt romney has an impressive lead so far. 58% to 40%. but it's still very early. those 11 electoral votes in indiana still up in the air. we have not made a projection in indiana. let's bring in some of our reporters in the battle ground states. brian todd is in nashua, new hampshire. brian, first to you. what's going on over there? >> reporter: wolf, big story in new hampshire. voter registration, same-day voters. look at the line here in nashua, precinct 3. this goes out the door. they want to prevent people from waiting in the cold. goes all the way down the hall here. same-day registration voters, it's gotten so big here as far as the wait here and in salem and manchester, they have had to at least in nashua, i'm told by the city clerk, they have had to deputize volunt

mitt romney had a plan. you can argue which plan was better, but both of them had a plan, and, again, to me if i'm an autoworker or i'm from the company in a management position, i want someone who is president who is going to put in place the tax reformed that they're all dying to have. i mean, they come to me as a u.s. senator and say, look, we have to have tax reform to be competitive. we've got to have lower energy costs and lower health care costs. we need regulatory relief and a level playing field. those are all the things that mitt romney has been talking about. not just recently, but for months in his campaign. i think what he has got is a positive proactive approach for the economy, and that's going to make a difference in ohio. not just with auto companies and other manufacturers, but with folks who are frustrated with where we are. that tends to be a difference at the end of the day, and we'll see that in polling results. >> okay. let me ask you, i don't think we're going to get anywhere on the a
