roger, you think this is the real deal? >> well, i think the chances for an agreement, a serious agreement, a major agreement are impositiving as we see these additional details. this is taking the pattern, familiar pattern that one often sees in washington in terms of grudging progress. the two sides each laid out aggressive positions initially from the point of view what they want and now we're seeing some hesitating progress but progress towards a middle ground. and it's a difficult thing. the politics of this are very hard. but i think the chances for an agreement are improving. i think there will be agreement and likely to be before the deadline but we don't know that yet. melissa: we don't know that. diana, still seems like there a lot of distance in the middle between the two sides at this point? >> there really does and dana has gone very far in that tax increase, that tax rate increase for millionaires. we all know that the problem in washington is spending. spending has risen to 25% of gdp. government spending. wh

roger: all right, that should be good right there. all right. okay, so this is where our double driveway gate is going to go. now, it's going to open in and it's going to be big enough so you can drive a car or a truck through it if you have to. oh, wow, that actually is really convenient for us. yeah. and this is the fence that we're going to make the gate from. it's a 4'-tall vinyl fence semi-private which means there's a 1/2" space. now, we're going to go over we're going to set the post for it. as you can see, this vinyl post is a hollow piece of vinyl. what we have to do is we have to add an aluminum "i" beam inside of it to give it a strength and structure. and, also, it has a nice, flat surface that we can mount our hinge screws into. so this supports the gate, not the vinyl. yes, that's right. and there's nothing worse than a saggy gate. no, there isn't. so we notched out a little bit of the deck so that we can get the post right up against it tight. and i'm going to mark out the asphalt so that i can cut it out with the electric jackham
