the quick actions of starbucks customers and employees that averted a possible poisoning at this starbucks store in south san jose. 345:45 a woman walked in and took two bottles of what appear to be orange juice out of her purse and placed them into the refrigerated items display. and then she got in line. the other customers in the store thought that was unusual. they alerted the baristas behind the county. the store employees grab add the bottles. >> the employees at the starbucks actually tested the orange juice by opening the top and smelling it and they could smell something inside the bottle and became fearful. they called the police department. >> and they also called the fire department which sent out hazardous materials team. tested the bottles and confirmed it contained rubbing alcohol. now, fortunately another employee at the starbucks wrote down the woman's license plate number before she took off. and police were able to track her down at her house about five minutes away -- five miles away. 50-year-old ramina bebahanian. speculated she could have some sort of issue against st

here to tell us now how a starbucks store was targeted, janine? >> that woman was spiking drinks at a starbucks, the one on santa theresa just opened up and employees helped track down the woman responsibility. >> reporter: police say a customer noticed a woman walk into the starbucks and remove two bottles in a bag and replace them in a case of items. then the woman left the store and the employee noticed a toxic smell. they noticed rubbing alcohol was inside and they had recorded the woman's license plate down and they tracked her to a home four miles away, they arrested 50-year-old woman. police believe she acted alone and they are investigating a motive. now police will be holding a news conference this morning and we have reached out to the corporate offices to see if they are doing anything as a precaution. we have not heard back yet. police tell us there is no further danger to anyone and we will have much more on the next hour of the news. janine de la vega ktvu channel 2 morning news. >>> police are investigating a deadly shooting last ni
