there's been two storms that rolled through the same area frederick county, virginia, right around clark and this now doppler indicated tornado here, we still have storms north of leesburg. these will work across the river into under montgomery county and lower frederick county. those are not severe. they will produce some big rains and will slow you down heading up 270 trying to get home tonight. there's storms to the south and west around romney and on the west side of i-81. we'll have storms till the cold front goes through. when this cold front goes through, it's going to feel like march tomorrow. we got big storms today, temps in the 80s. tomorrow we'll have sprinkles and temperatures in the 60s. we'll lose 20 degrees in about 24 hours. you guys got a question? >> before we let you go, this has been a week where we had seen the evidence of what severe weather can do. so when you talk about those warnings for people in that area where the tornado warnings are, you really want them to heed those warnings. >> we do. we haven't seen this. this is not a confirmed tornado, but you have to

at one time there was a tornado warning down here in frederick and clark counties in virginia. it is still a healthy thunderstorm and a lot of rain down here but not the strong rotation that was indicated just 35 minutes ago. these are tracking in tamerlan now, heavy showers in montgomery aunty, getting into far -- strong sell begin to move up from the south. the storms will be coming out of virginia, across the potomac and into maryland. the rotation mets some of cells out there in northern virginia. all of this developing as a strong cold front comes in. 79 at the airport, 70 in oakland, 51 in cleveland, 46 in detroit. that cold air will come rushing in here late tonight and tomorrow morning. shares in storms at least until midnight oso. -- showers and storms. clouds extend all the way back into the great lakes. tomorrow might turn out to be a cloudy, windy, cool day with may be left over shower. the storms are on the warmer side of that front and that will be offshore by tomorrow. a few sprinkles linger into midday tomorrow, then the skies clear tomorrow night. sunny skies a

and clark telescopes are a major part of this collection. we own a lot of material on alvin clarke and the other early makers. there is a history of an 18th century telescope and our copy has a wonderful foldout engraving on mine as well and then we also have the companion piece and museum holds the actual telescope and that's an example of something we've exhibited together. one of my favorite books is the mechanism of the heavens. mrs. mary somerville, 1831. she was an important observational astronomer and again, this is representative of one of a number of books we have of women who have a great deal of influence in the field. the collection is still growing. -- ..
