i just tweeted about this and just to the wes of leesburg. this storm is moving -- west of leesburg. this storm is moving off to the east, northeast. it's going to cause urban flooding at the very least. please do not cross a flooded street. this storm is still hanging on, in hail yet, but reports of hail in the panhandle of west virginia. right now we have heavy rain with this storm around 5:22 moving off to the north and east. we'll go into this storm again. this is hail around south of route 7 and maybe route 7 around round hill down toward black oak road. if you know somebody going out route 7 to get home, it may take them a while. this is a big storm, too from damascus to woodfield with hail as well. we'll zoom in, pretty sure that's hail around the wood neil area around 124, hawkins creamer road and up near 27 and founders way. there are no warnings on these storms, but these are very intense storms. we are under a yellow alert. >> thank you. >>> let's get back to our breaking news, scott broom live on the scene of that deadly garage co

right now 66 in leesburg. 63 in manassas. it's 56 in fredricksburg and tappahannock and 65 degrees right now in cambridge on the eastern shore. we're looking at nice, mild temperatures as well. it is significantly warmer than it was yesterday, especially places like gaithersburg where it's 9 degrees warmer than it was at noon yesterday. here's a look at satellite and radar. you can see where the stormy weather is right now. may snow falling in places like denver all the way up to minneapolis. that stormy weather is going to sit and stay in the midwest for the next couple of days. we also have a persistent area of low pressure developing in the gulf of mexico. those two are going to combine eventually and make their way toward the d.c. metro area, but in the meantime, we are high and dry. and there's that gloomy weather i was telling you about that some people are still dealing with. it's down in southern virginia near norfolk where they have the showers moving on shore. highs today will be beautiful. 69 degrees in martinsburg

very heavy storms just south of leesburg. this is right along 15. another big storm that's moving to the north and east at about 20 to 30 miles an hour just south of frederick. this one has a ton of lightning on this track that will be near ballinger creek. also notice and damascus, you've already got heavy rain but then you're going to get enhancement from that storm as it moves on through. another line of storms coming right through front royal, in through 66. this will continue in through portions of northern faulkier county and also down through southern loudoun and faulkier, so we've got a lot of storms out there. once again we're not done quite yet. we're going see those storms moving to the north and east around poolsville and barnsville. very heavy rain around those areas and that's going to continue through the rest of the evening hours. the big change here, we're going to see the storms tonight but tomorrow a huge change. temperatures down to 65 degrees. nearly 20 degrees cooler than where they have been the last couple of days. 69 on your
