i don't blame dell as much as the board. dell has something to gain. i can understand human nature. what the hell at board doing this for. they're giving it away. worse than that they should have made it a fair auction. we have all this money here. why don't we do a recap. now you hear the board is still going to protect the guy. here's what i think -- why i think i can win. because i honestly would say if you are an institution, why do you want this guy still running the company? he's brought the stock from 40 down to this number. so he mismanaged it. this board went and froze him out. you know there's an old saying that if you -- there's an sold saying that if i trust you, you fool my once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. if they go for dell again, then shame on them. especially if i have a very good guy to run it or a good guy to run it. >> people raise the question, jim chanos was here today and he said i don't get it, i don't get what carl icahn and michael dell are doing. i guess they see a hewlett packard like hopeful turn around bu but i think it's a pipe dream. >>

well, to me, michael dell's bottom ticked this. he had some tax loss, the shares traded at 8 or 9 bucks, and he magically appeared and bid 13.65 with the help of his private equity friends in silicon valley. i, frankly, think they're stealing the company from liz: that's quite a statement, stealing the company from shareholders. you can see shares aren't there yet, not quite. $13.09 at the moment, moving higher by one and two-thirds on news that that vote was delayed. but fascinating to see. this is the one-month picture. if you looked at, say, for example, the five-month picture, this was a $26 stock. so you've got to look at this and see exactly what's going on. take a look. there it was. you know that many shareholders just want to get some of their money out at this point or back at least. closing bell ringing in 30 minutes. big name banks have dominated the earnings headlines this week, but we're talking to the ceo of a megabank that's flying under the radar, not weighed down by some of the baggage carried by much larger rival
