this all started in a converted garage. brian flores has more. >> reporter: i want to start off with the new information that we're learning from fire investigators. one woman says they've ruled out electrical as a possible cause. you are looking at fireworks, alcohol and cigarettes. this residence has a main house and a converted garage. from what we understand, two of them are dead. we want to look at the fire damage. it's completely charred inside. this fire was first reported around 2:40. this will quickly extinguish by the richmond fire department. when they arrived, not only did they have to deal with the fire but the victims. fire investigators say both victims were killed inside the converted garage. and they were in their 50s. parents of the third victim, a man in his 20s. that man was seen outside of the converted garage. he was first taken to kaiser but later transported to st. francis burn center where we understand he's in critical condition. two bodies were taken out of the residence. it's still unclear what c
