the real issue that's this bridge happens to be the underpass for the future of the cal extraction to i'd like to very briefly go to the letter i wrote to the committee and highlight the main points. there are many issues including the fact that a station couldn't possibly function without on there passes and the design encroaches the future station access ramps. everyone agrees there are technical challenges but we've shown staff two different construction techniques including like the one in london. the next is for the road specifically the miss appropriation of $4 million in fta funds. and $3.3 million in prop k funds that were approved by the voters not to have a viable station. and last point that staff is unaware of a funding envelope in the region of $30 million that can be immediately used to start building the station including the adjacent quinton street track. in closings i respectfully request a 3 month stay of execution on the station underpass while we reach out to it bridge reconstruction experts that will be on time and budget >> thank you. anyone else on the public wh

specifically for the garbo the supervisor mar and you are beginning to have the planning of filling in the underpass. this is a legacy of the freeway that never got completed in a redevelopment agency that it's time to reunite your communities. i'm so happy that our supervisor mar has support that. as that project processes we have the perfect opportunity to reembroiling the stretch of the gary boulevard. and the specific design will be influenced by or may influence our infidel. this is about more than filling in a hole in the ground but an opportunity to bring the community together. it's an opportunity to improve the safety for pedestrians and bicyclists and motorists alike and it's the chap to have a more beautiful place to live. it will involve the work of a lot of agencies like the transportation authority the planning department the department of planning works and the rec and planning department and a, of course, significant input from the community. i look forward to working with them on this particular project. my second project is about the boulevard. today, we're introducing a resolution
