berkeley. alex savidge is in berkeley to tell us more about that camp which is now gone. good morning, alex. >> reporter: yeah sad day for thousands of bay area families who have returned here year after year to the berkeley tuolumne camp. the facility run by the city of berkeley. we will put up a map to show you exactly where this is located. it's right along the tuolumne river near grove land and not far from yosemite national park. berkeley operated this camp since 1922. as the massive rim fire closed in, the popular camp had to be evacuated. counselors in training packed up and hoped for the best. the u.s. forest service is unsure exactly how many buildings at the camp were lost. meantime close to 3500 firefighters are battling the flames on the ground and from the air trying to slow the spread of the huge fire which is now burning inside of yosemite national park. this is new aerial video taken on board a california air national guard air tanker. a plane that can drop 3,000 gallons of wate

police in berkeley have gone back to the scene of berkeley's latest homicide. it happened last night at the busy intersection of san pablo and delaware. it's berkeley's third homicide this year. ktvu's brian flores is already there. you have an update on what the police are doing. brian? >> reporter: good morning, dave. yeah. berkeley police back out here this morning. investigators are combing the area talking to residents and businesses asking people what they saw or heard last night. but from what people are telling us, they say crime is on the rise here especially in this part of berkeley. this is normally a safe neighborhood which is why many are left wondering what's going on. this morning, police have not released a suspect description at this point. but police do say the shooting happened just after 9:15 last night near bing's liquor store. police received reports of multiple gunshots heard in the area. when they arrived, they found a man lying on the street injured. police have not released his identity but they say he was 24 years old. that man was th
