time for leigh glaser, and the weather. who is getting blustery. >> ey winds up, cloud moving in, mist and drizzle, a chance of showers tonight. live doppler 7hd showing you the increasing clouds across the bay area, and every so green indicating heavy mist and drills, but in the near the corner of the state, and the lightning strikes south of mt. shasta. there they go, and already some winter advise riz are up for the lake tahoe area. this advisory is up until noon tomorrow. above 5,000 feet, looking anywhere from four to as much as six inches of snow. lake level. and you can compound that with the high wind warnings until tomorrow morning, 5:00 a.m. speaking of wind. the speeds around the bay area. over 30 miles-per-hour in many locations. fairfield, 37-mile-per-hour wind guests. 31 in livermore. sfo, 32. novato, 30. napa right now, 31 miles-per-hour. and those strong winds brought temperatures down as much as 22 degrees. cooler in fairfield. concord, livermore, you were down 20 degrees. down six degrees today in oakland.

leigh glaser has our forecast. it's nice feeling like fall but maybe a warmup? >> yeah, definitely warmup. by tuesday, we're talking a beach day. >> wow. >> in the 70s. we love this time of year in the bay area, folks. doppler 7hd showing you pretty much all clear. we have a little bit of high clouds right there. just by the coast. i want to take you up a little bit along the north coast. we have what we like to call an inside slider, area of low pressure that's going to track all the way down towards the lake tahoe area. you can clearly see some of the lightning strikes already being presented as this colder air mass is hitting a warmer air mass. of course, that's what's causing all of the convection there. as it gets closer to the higher elevations, it will turn over to a rain/snow mix. keep that in mind. here locally, some locations calm winds. other locations, boy, sfo gusts to 36. san carlos at 7 and santa rosa, strong northerly wind gusts up to 23 miles an hour. the winds are going to continue to be with us off and on tonight as well as tomorrow. already c

it's time for a check on weather with leigh glaser. >> a lot of fog. you can see it out there coming in over the city. in fact, here's a look at live doppler 7 hd. picking it up a little bit off the coast here. really starting to make its way in through the golden gate headed out towards the peninsula as well as the bay. it is definitely going to bring us mist and drizzle overnight tonight, as well. you can see in the last few frames right here, all of this is banking up near the coast here. here is a look at our highs today where the fog was right near the coast. obviously, temperatures in the 50s to low 60s. san francisco today 61 degrees. but boy, i tell you, inland locations you can't beat the 80s. antioch 82, 83 for fairfield. clear lake 83 and 78 today in napa. this is another shot for you, a great one, kind of gives you a sense of all the on shore winds just pushing the low clouds and fog from our sutro cam. it is pushing it over the city of san francisco. so definitely some reduced visibilities tomorrow morning. san francisco right now already
