>> hi, there, tamron. we're monitoring developments and are awaiting that ruling that would show whether or not that coroner's inquest would move forward. what exactly is a coroner's inquest? it's a judicial proceeding where six jurors would take a new look at evidence in this case and decide whether kendrick johnson died as a result of an accident as officials have said or perhaps as a homicide. now, kendrick johnson's family requested this coroner's inquest about two weeks ago, wanting to see if something -- if officials would take a new look at this case. as you mentioned, the georgia bureau of investigation ruled kendrick johnson died in a tragic incident when he reached for a shoe, fell in, got stuck and could not breathe. now, last week, the u.s. attorney opened a formal review into this case. that could take a while. this coroner's inquest would be significant because it would essentially reopen this case on the local level in addition to the federal law, now in addition to that, we're also awaiting
