they say a man wanted for felony crimes was inside of a home. an alert was sent out warning neighbors to stay inside while officers worked to get the man to surrender. he did around 6:00 last night. no one was hurt. >>> in fresno a mistake by a jury cost a man his life. 37-year-old bobby lee pearson was a career criminal on trial for burglary. the jury deadlocked 8-4. mistakenly signed a form on wednesday declaring he was not guilty. the judge later learned about the error but it was too late to reverse the verdict and pearson was released from jail. he then went to his sister's home to collect some belongings but then got into a fight with his boyfriend and was stabbed to death. >> if bobby pearson not been released, would this murder occur? no. >> jurors say there were wasn't a form saying they were deadlocked. only guilty or not guilty. >>> joseph scott was arrested during a traffic stop in redwood city over the memorial day weekend. tests show that he had a blood alcohol level of .12 at the time. scott is scheduled to be arraigned on august
